Won't shipping costs outweigh any cost advantage?

 

For most manufactured goods, the savings achieved by manufacturing in China are sufficiently large that even when transportation costs are taken into account, it is still far cheaper to source them in China. 

 

However, for items that are particularly heavy or bulky relative to their price, the balance can tip making it uneconomic to source them in China.

 

One advantage of using our sourcing service is that we will quote a complete price including the cost of shipping.  This will enable you to decide if the economics work for you.  All too often companies receive a very price competitive quote from a factory in China but see their savings slowly erode as they have to add on transportation costs and the related costs of importing their products into the USA.
